My interests: |
In the last couple of decades the broad objective of the TGG was to develop New Non-Crystalline Solids "Semiconducting Tellurite Glasses" by modifying it with rare earth and transition metal ions to get a unique properties. The research activities were published, represented internationally and focused on the coming physical properties : 1- Elastic & Anelastic, 2- Optical, 3- Electrical, 4- Thermal & Vibrational The study of the physical properties of the non crystalline solid 'Tellurite Glasses, TG" is continuing to attract the attention of many researchers. This is not only because of the numerous technical application of TG, but also because of the fundamental interest in understanding the microscopic structure. 1- Selected Publication on TG 1- Review : " Tellurite Glasses Part 1 : Elastic Properties", R.El-Mallawany , Materials Chem . and Physics , 53, 93-120 (1998) 2- Review : " Tellurite Glasses Part 2 : Anelastic Properties , Debye Temperature , Phase Separation and Thermal Properties", R.El-Mallawany, Materials Chem. and Physics, in Press (1999)
